in general (though kdepim may decide to differ :) any crash qualifies for 
backporting up to the actual release day, assuming the fix is not overly 
complex and thereby bringing potential side-effects with it. if it is complex, 
get it tested in trunk first; but crashers should be fixed as much as is 
humanly possible for release.
