Kontacts is the obvious name - and for other obvios reasons it can't be
used.

Back in the dayz on the early internetZ, "email addy" or just "addy" was
used for at least email information.
Maybe
Kaddy or Kaddie could be interesting terms, especially for playing with
Kolf.

on other parts of the old internetz, A/S/L was a much used term, making
KASL the good name, now that we already have SASL integration ...

Following the aKregator style, aKuintances could be used, or the more
modern writing of Akuintances, except that no one can spell it.

Friends/KFriends/FriendEditor is too narrow and might be better for a
microblogging thing or instant messaging tool.

KVCard
KBusinessCardHandlingApplication

Or maybe a more non-describing name should be used and Contact Manager
should be used as a GenericName in menus and stuff and Contacts in the
kontact side pane.

For a non-describing name, all the cool possibilities like
Conakry
Kakadu
Nicaragua

BaKon
Koolaid
KEvolution

Cool people might be inspired by the african country Togo and do
s/[kgc]/K/ on it - and that would be funny, but maybe not really usable.

But the application basically manages contact information. It can manage
your friends, your business partners, your costumers, your clients, your
family, ... but using just one of the terms isn't covering enough.

Taking the word "addressbook", translate it to a weird language and
doing s/[ckg]/K/ on it can also be tried. Danish: AdresseboK.
