[Kde-pim] S/MIME signatures - outlook requiring root cert?

Hi Folks

The following bug reporter says that Outlook requires the root cert of the 
chain to be included in order to validate signatures, and that our default 
config in KDE3 needs changing.

Could someone more knowledgeable about S/MIME check if this is a valid 
problem?
