Hallo
mein Name ist Reinhard Fischotter
und ich habe vor 2 Woche SUSE 11 installiert.
Ich hatte ihnen am 23 9. 2008 schon eine E-Mail geschickt, mit einigen Sachen 
die mir bei Kontact auffielen.
Heute möchte ich ihnen mein Fazit schicken.
In KOrganizer sind doch einige Probleme im Anschluß aufgetreten das ich mich 
gezwungen sah, neu zu installieren und die 3.5 von KDE zu nehmen.

Beim Zusammenführen der Sicherungsdateien des alten Kalenders, machte der 
KOrganizer immer einen doppelten Eintrag alle Termine waren Doppelt.
Auch bei neuen Terminen die ich angelegt habe, kam 2 Sekunden später immer ein 
zweiter gleicher Termin.
Ich hab versucht das Problem zu umgehen, in dem ich das Speichern auf Manuell 
gestellt habe, aber da brach dann Kontact komplett zusammen.

Bei Importieren von der alten Adressbuch Sicherung waren alle Kategorien 
gelöscht. Das mußte ich dann per Hand nach bearbeiten. War nervig.

Manchmal hatte ich unten rechts in der Kontrollleiste das KMail Symbol 
angeklickt und nur KMail ging auf, Kontact ging nur links auf in dem 
Kontrollleiste-Menü, wo ich das Kontact-Symbol selbst eingefügt habe.


Fazit:
Mir gefällt die neue Oberfläche von KDE (Plasma) sehr gut.
An Kontact muß glaube ich noch etwas gefeilt werden.
Wenn die Kleinigkeiten, wie Rechtschreibprüfung, Kalender Probleme usw.
weg sind ist das bestimmt wieder eine Freunde mit dem Programm zu arbeiten.

my name is Reinhard Fischotter
and I  installed 2 week ago openSUSE 11.
As I wrote you, in the e-mail from 23 9 2008 already, with a few things
I noticed in contact.
Today I send You my conclusion.
In KOrganizer I run into some problems that forced my to reinstall openSuSE 
and KDE 3.5.

When I merge the backup files from the old calendar, KOrganizer always makes a 
dual listing all dates were double.
Even with the new appointments I've created, 2 seconds later was always a
equal second date.
I tried to circumvent the problem, to store it manual, but then contact 
broke completely together.

When I import from the old address book backup, all categories are 
deleted. That I had to edit them manually. That was annoying.

Sometimes the icon on the Control Panel from KMail on the right sight, showed 
only KMail not contact , contact was only ther at the left icon, wich I 
placed there.

Conclusion:
I like the new interface of KDE (plasma).
But contact needs a little more polish

When the little things, such as spell check, calendar problems, etc.
are away than It must be a Joy to work with the program in the future.
