Thanks for finding this, I committed your patch in rev. 875810 and backported 
it to the 4.1 branch in rev. 875811.

Good luck with finding the cause for this bug, it is probably not easy to do, 
especially since the filtering code is a bit of a mess (there are two 
different filter handling codes doing the same thing, for example).
