Actually I'm trying to install kdepim itself and its part of the
cmakekde that it does it. Kdepimlibs and kdebase have already installed
fine.

Interesting, neither does Akonadi install such a file nor does anyting
in
kdepim[libs] search for it AFAICS. What exactly are you trying to build
(kdepimlibs top-level I assume)? Can you paste the full cmake output?
Even
if Akonadi is not found, this should result in a different error
message.
