[Kde-pim] Please check bug #60138 (crypto)

Hi,

triaging I came across the following bug: 
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60138

"Kmail spinning and eating CPU waiting for gnupg".

Now, I'd love to check if that's still there but as it's tied to the scheduler 
you're using, probably some concurrency stuff and which crypto backend you're 
using. I wanted to ask, if any of you knows if asynchroneous gpg has been 
implemented somewhen and if this bug can be closed.
