On a fresh SVN checkout cmake ends with this:

CMake Error at /usr/lib/kde4/share/kde4/apps/cmake/modules/FindBoost.cmake:557
(MESSAGE):
Couldn't find the Boost libraries and/or include directory, or the version
found is too old. Please install the Boost libraries AND development
packages. You can set BOOST_ROOT, BOOST_INCLUDEDIR and BOOST_LIBRARYDIR to
  help find Boost.
Call Stack (most recent call first):
  CMakeLists.txt:50 (find_package)

What are the boost libraries? In my distro (Ubuntu) I see that there
are many libboost packages but none of them seem relevant to KDE or
KDE-PIM.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
