Yes, that can be checked for sure. I guess that this was initially thought
this way just in case the first time the user wants to drag&drop does it with
a thread, and he/she gets a "no-drop" cursor. He/She can think from there that
it is not possible to drop in there *anything*.
So, yes, I would still vote for the message box error. Apart from that, the
error teachs you directly that you can't drop threads, and you need to do it
with single mail items.

Hmm.. probably as Tom said, "Drop" is better, but I think "Drag & drop" is not
the ideal string. I mean, dragging is never possible, with multiple or single
elements. The only action you perform on the sidebar are drop actions.

Yes, actually, if canDecodeMimeData() method is consistent with
processDropEvent() method on the plugin implementation, you should never reach
this warning (since canDecodeMimeData() should have returned false, and you
would never have reached processDropEvent()).
So, yes, I agree on moving those warnings from message boxes to kWarnings().
