[Kde-pim] Cannot send attachments from Kmail

Hi I am running KDE 4.1.81 and KMail version 1.10.90 (KDE 4.2 >=
20081128). Since last update, I am unable to send attachments with my
emails. I get the message:

Writing to socket failed.

This happens regardless of the SMTP server I use. IMO, this should be
treated as a critical bug.
