I am not negative, rather, I am trying to encourage you to present
your ideas in a form that can be translated into code because I am
optimistic about your ideas. If you cannot visualize an "alternative
UI" then don't mention it. Let's get working on a UI that you can
visualize and take it from there.

What is a wikipedia-like interface? You assume that the developer
knows what design elements distinguish Wikipedia for you. Don't assume
that. State exactly what you like about Wikipedia's interface without
ever mentioning Wikipedia..

Yes, that was very comprehensible and easy to understand. In fact, I
think that Basket meets 90% of your stated goals.

The fact that you cannot describe an interface that exists only in
your imagination means that nobody will be able to code it. Only when
you manage to get that interface out of your imagination and into a
feature request will the coding begin. That is what I am trying to
help you with. Don't assume that I am attacking you when I ask you for
answers, assume that I am trying to help you. That's what I am doing.

Basket, or another application. I don't think that BKO is the place to
suggest new applications, but I actually have done that once.

There was mention of a mind-mapping addition to Basket, which I think
you should research. Or other mind-mapping software in general.
