Hello Dyllan,

Thanks for your mail. I always find it interesting to read the needs of our users, especially in somewhat bigger implementations. Anyhow, I can not comment on the actual bug, but I do want to give a response about the above statement for a donation. 

KDE has special projects for companies that want to support KDE, especially if you are planning to do it yearly. More information can be found at: http://ev.kde.org/getinvolved/supporting-members.php
You might want to consider becoming a supporting member of KDE. If you do, I can bring you in contact with the right people within KDE.

I hope a KMail developer can help you with your bug.
