Will already wrote a Facebook resource for Akonadi (in playground). I think
Facebook will not get the OpenSocial API (because it is Microsoft-owned now).
But I guess writing an Akonadi resource for the Opensocial API shouldn't be
too difficult.
Having an Akonadi resource means that you can import (and even sync?) your
contacts from Facebook/Opensocial, but I don't think you can do much more
with it. But then again, I don't know what would be possible at all.
