I don't disagree with Marc. The shared_ptr seems to be a class which makes 
sense to use.

But in order to minimize trouble for people compiling kdepim we could just add 
the header to kdepimlibs (and possibly add a typedef to make it look more 
KDEish) instead of adding the full Boost dependency. From what I read this 
would solve some people's problems (including compiling kdepim on Windows).
