[Kde-pim] How to get Kaddressbook focus to stay put

I'm using Kontact version 1.2.3 with Kmail 1.9.5 and Kaddressbook 3.5.3 on an 
Opensuse 10.2 box.

If I go to my addressbook and click on an entry so I can see the phone number 
and so on, the display only lasts a few seconds at best before it reverts 
back to the list view. Where do I find the setting that lets me lengthen the 
time this view lasts to something more usable?
