That's a use case for Nepomuk:

http://nepomuk-kde.semanticdesktop.org

Nepomuk makes it possible to link all kinds of data and to e.g. group them by 
project. But that's not yet finished neither integrated into Kontact, so it's 
only interesting if you are a developer and want to help developing it.
