Thanks Oliver

I have those - essentially I'm after the perleditor plugin that lets me
select a Perl project, much like a C++ project.
Have you seen it?
  http://perlqt.sourceforge.net/designer.png
or

http://perlqt.sourceforge.net/dist/current/doc/en/index.html#rad_prototyping_with_qt_designer_and_puic

I 'apt-get source' downloaded, patched and compiled qt (didn't install
it) and can run the resulting pqt-designer but it segfaults on me :(

Apparently, due to some minor (4 lines of code minor) problems in the
distributed qt-designer the plugin needs a custom build of qt-designer...
(hmm, sidetrack... thinks... I just tried the plugin in the standard
3.3.2 designer and it loads and works to a point - but I get the same
segfault)

David
