As Asa pointed out, you probably want to use the pqtapi introspection tool.
Have you read the PerlQt.html/.pod in the /doc directory?
You could find useful tips there...

You can ease the task of instant prototyping by using pqtsh, the PerlQt shell
Both tools are packaged in the standard distribution. (PerlQt-3/PerlQt/bin/* 
in the source tree)

You may ask every PerlQt-specific question here... it's always a pleasure.
