FYI: C++ virtual inheritance analysis

Hello all,

On the ksvg-devel mailing list were an examination of C++ virtual inheritance 
done, with comments from GCC people and references to a for me enlightening 
paper. To some, including myself, the results are surprising; virtual 
inheritance is often seen as expensive, but judging from the background 
material, that can easily not be the case.
