model/view support in qt4

Hello there,

I had started writing a generic model-view architecture for qt, so I am left 
wondering. Just how generic is the one in the upcoming qt4? Is it, for 
instance, going to allow us to hook list views to arbitrary data sources such 
as databases, or the output of dynamic processes? If it's general enough, it 
could mean a lot of speedup.
