i now offically hate feature requests...

its writing to the bookmarks file
in order to provide stats on bookmark
access. why its trying to write out
in a loop is unknown to me. i'll look 
into it soon.

crash recovery among a thousand and
one other things also suffers the 
same problem but that doesn't show 
the dialog.

personally i think its a system 
configuration problem and that the
only bug is the dialog "dos"
