[Kde-nonlinux] KDE sound on OpenBSD

I am having problems getting sound to work on OpenBSD 3.6 running KDE
3.2.3 on i386.

Sound Blaster Live card recognized at audio0 at emu0.

Sound works fine in console using ksmp3play but the KDE sound system
does not seem to connect to the sound driver. I've tried over-riding the
location but arts either cannot connect to the sound server or crashes
(no backtrace info available).

I did add the soundcard after the PC was set up but OpenBSD seems to
recognize the card just fine.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
