I have not tried my luck with Qt on MacOSX, but during my compile
atempts on my linux box I found, that there is a file in configs for
each configuration, that Qt supports. You probably will have to create
a file for the MacOSX configuration. MacOSX does have g++, so one of
those g++ configy may server as a template. Unfortunately MacOSX does
have its own hared library mechanism, so the code to build a shared lib
has to be adopted in any case. You could first try your luck with a
static version.

To chase your configure problem, you could try

	sh -x ./configure
