Getting AudioDataOutput to return data

The transcoding is not bound with the playing we just use Phonon already
for playing and we want to transcode files in Ogg and stream them over the
network. So on principle it could be another solution than Phonon.

The good thing about Phonon is it takes anything in entry and it's in Qt!

Do you have anything in mind as a possible alternate solution? It should
really accept at least a few popular format and be cross-platform.
