The first and last patch might make sense for inclusion upstream.

The one for Dragon Player looks fine, though if you included DVD
support that would be better.

But really I think you and Mandriva and the rest should get together
and come up with a dbus standard for "installing extra codecs at
runtime" so that such code can live upstream. All of you have your own
solution for this so there's probably a lot of wasted redundant
effort. Call it a "Kit" and everyone will love it. :) But thats more
of a long term goal.
