Hello,

the patch for KDE3 to support OSS4 was added in in December 2008 to KDE3.

For getting it into KDE4, please read https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=166591#c17 .
It "just" needs somebody to uses OSS4 and who can adjust the patch.
