Problem linking arts

I have been having problems linking KDE arts.
I have already posted a description on other mailing lists.
(I apologize if this is becoming like spam.)

Despite libtool saying that it is linking with g++, it does
not seem to find what it is linking against.  I have the problem
with another package on my system, but there is a workaround
for that one.  So, it may be a configuration error on my machine.

Can anyone please help me fix it so I can finally install the package?
If any additional information would be useful, please ask.
