Arts and gcc4.x

Hi,

Is there anything being done regarding arts crashing when it is compiled using 
gcc-4.0? I'm using Fedora Core 4 so regressing to a gcc3.x compiler is not 
really an option. I have also tried the latest compiler via CVS (gcc4.1.0) 
and I am still experiencing problems.

I have reported this - see comments 45-48 on 
http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=19317 Obviously the gcc folk 
accept responsibility for the problem but want to have little to do with its 
isolation.

I am attempting to do as requested and come up with some type of test case but 
this is obviously a very time-consuming exercise.
