Help needed on Bug #87778 (soundcard detection problem)

Hi,

I need some help with BUG #87778. BUG #87778 is about KMix not detecting some soundcards.
This happens when you have multiple ALSA cards, like this:

1) One ALSA card WITHOUT Mixing Device (could be a TV card, an external USB box, a Modem or whatsoever), e.g. ALSA Device "hw:0"
2) Another ALSA card WITH Mixing Devices. And this card must have a higher card number than the first, e.g. ALSA Device "hw:1"

I need help in 2 places:

1) Very important: People who could verify that KMix still works as good (or bad) as yesterday. If it doesn't, I must revert my latest patch.
2) People with such a soundcard setup as described above. I need some feedback, whether this bug is fixed or not.
