Well, if the timeline that Christian mentioned said stable API will probably 
be outlined before KDE 3.4 is out.  Once they're headed towards 1.0 I'll 
update the bindings.

And actually the C API isn't that rough (but then, I'm a C programmer 8 hours 
a day ;-) ).  See:
