arts effect as noatun plugin

Hi,

I'm trying to develop an arts effect plugin for noatun.

Unfortunately it looks like the arts effect can't be loaded after the arts 
server is up. I get the error message:

MCOP StartupManager: adding a StartupClass after Dispatcher init will not 
work.

Is there a workaround or does noatun have to link against my effects library, 
i.e. it's not possible to realize it as a plugin?
