I like the idea and at this point I'd suggest going directly for
kde-multimedia. I think that if this is going to be used in KDE 3.3 it needs
to be tested as widely as possible as soon as possible.
As for whether it'll be left as the default for 3.3 I think we'll have to make
that call at a later time once we see how stuff works out. If it's going to
cause more problems than it solves and this is clear then we'll go back to
mpeglib for 3.3.
