OpenML

Hi!

The current iX magazine (one of the major German IT publications) has an 
article about OpenML.
http://www.khronos.org/openml/

It says among other things that Sun is considering to reimplement its Java 
Multimedia API with OpenML.

Any thoughts of KDE multimedia developers on this technology?
