Summary: Noatun always skips the last (half) second of a audio
file
Product: noatun
Version: 2.2.1
Platform: Debian testing
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kde-multimedia kde org
ReportedBy: tux sentinel dk
Version: 2.2.1 (using KDE KDE 3.1.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
Compiler: haven't compiled it myself (using debian sid)
OS: Linux
Try it out yourself with this one: http://sentinel.dk/files/Homer-No_more_duffs.mp3
You will notice how the very last word in that mp3 is cut (you only hear "wo" when you should in fact hear "woman"). JuK has the same problem, by the way, so I thouht it maybe was arts-related, but using XMMS (also arts-enabled), you will hear Homer say the whole word "woman". I have a dusin or so of these small Homer audio clips, and Noatun/JuK always skips the very last second (maybe it's only half a second).
I think most people don't experience this issue, simply because most "normal" songs tend to have 1 or 2 seconds of silence at the very end of a song.
