apt doesn't seem to give me the possibility to downgrade the arts package. But take a look at the link to the debian list I mentioned in my original bug report. There somebody solved the problem by downgrading mpeglib and libarts1-mpeglib.

Or could somebody else (Stanislav ?) make the downgrade test of his arts package if still necessary?
