hmm, lets see: fftscopeview.h includes artsmodules.h which includes artsgui.h 
where the LevelMeter is defined. All my changes to the relevant files are 
upstream.

Are you sure you have kdemultimedia up-to-date? Perhaps you should try a clean 
install. Could be it uses the files from your installed kde.
(I didn't test it with a clean build yet.)

Could you try the attached patch to fftscopeview.h?
