In Proklam I'm using Festival for TTS and I want to do it in async mode to
give Proklam, more control over Festival. The problem of running in async
mode is that I don't have feedback from Festival to know if it's speaking or
not and I need it. I couldn't find a way to get that information yet and I'm
not getting the answer from the Festival mailing list.
Currently, Festival gets a command to run to play the sound file, it means, I
use Festival and Festival uses artsplay to play the sound and I was wondering
if maybe arts in some way, may provide the information I need, am I playing a
sound or not ? simple that.
What methods does arts provides to help me on this ?
