i think so too. and i'm not the only one. all tag editors/mp3 players that i
read the sources from, use such encodings (easytag, xmms, ...)
sorry for the misundersooding of the doc about utf-8 and ucs-2, i'm not very
clear on 16-bits encodings. moreover i'm french and do not speak (and also
undertand) english very well (as you certainly noticed :)).
