Yup. Is arts finally fixed btw?
Does it finally play *short* .ogg files correctly?
I believe it is not - at least for several files I have around.
Examples:
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/boson/data/themes/species/human/sounds/order_move_0.ogg
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/boson/data/themes/species/human/sounds/report_produced_0.ogg

Compare mpeglibartsplay <-> artsdsp ogg123
the last part of the files is skipped when using mpeglibartsplay

/me too.. But hey at least installed-size and cvs-size would be smaller!
