Package: noatun
Version: 2.0.0 (using KDE 3.0.1 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-4GB
OS/Compiler notes:

Noatun is not able to play files directly from a Samba share using the smb: kioslave.
For instance, a user could be browsing the LAN through Konqueror, find some music files on a Samba share and play them directly.
When I try this with XMMS, the file is downloaded to the local drive and then played. But with Noatun the download doesn't even occur. It simply doesn't play.
