kdeedu porting to mobile profile (kutils?)

Hi all,
now the kdeedu packages kinda build on the MeeGo obs, was mostly porting the 
kparts usage from the kpart genericfactory to the k plugin factory...

mostly.
some applications (blinken, kwordquiz, kig, parley) depend on the kutils 
library, that seems to be disabled in the mobile profile, what are the reasons 
of that?
what is the correct way to do? make the use of that conditional, make klutils 
build, port from kutils to something else, or... ?
