It is the right repository, as pointed out on 
  https:/userbase.kde.org/Kontact_Touch/MeeGo
:
  zypper addrepo 
http://repo.pub.meego.com/Project:/KDE:/Devel/MeeGo_1.2_OSS/Project:KDE:Devel.repo

But there was an "update" problem, 
probably because of the dependency issue in previous versions.
libkfile needs kde-filesystem, which was not installed, so "zypper update"
did not upgrade libkfile - silently.

An explicit install did:
  zypper install libkfile
Loading repository data...
Reading installed packages...
Resolving package dependencies...

The following NEW package is going to be installed:
  kde-filesystem

The following packages are going to be upgraded:
  kdelibs-kross-runtime kdelibs-runtime-core libkdecore libkdesu libkemoticons 
libkfile libkhtml libkidletime libkio
  libkjsapi libknewstuff3 libkntlm libkparts libkprintutils libkpty 
libkrosscore libnepomuk libnepomukquery
  libnepomukutils

19 packages to upgrade, 1 new.

In order to find out if other files are hanging on an update,
someone can use
  zypper list-updates --all
Loading repository data...
Reading installed packages...
No updates found.

Now 
  kdialog --getopenfilename . .
works again!
I the icons are back. 
I can start Kontact Touch Mail and could send an receive stuff,
now with:
