           Version: 3.7.2
          Platform: macOS (DMG)
                OS: macOS
            Status: REPORTED

  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

After updating Kstars from 3.6.7 to latest 3.7.2, my Canon DSLR is not
recognized anymore.
I'm sure it is a Kstars or INDI problem, because when I run an older release,
it works, and the Canon EOS Utilility program connect just fine.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch Kstars
2. In Ekos, define a profile that uses a Canon DSLR
3. Start Ekos/Indi

OBSERVED RESULT
The Canon DSLR tab is not showing at all in INDI panel
After few seconds, the console at the bottom of Ekos displays :
"2024-09-14T10:39:35 Unable to establish:
+ Canon DSLR"

EXPECTED RESULT
Should open a tab for Canon DSLR in INDI control panel and connect to it !

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows:
macOS: Big sur 11.7.10
(available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window)
Linux/KDE Plasma:
KDE Plasma Version:
KDE Frameworks Version:
Qt Version:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I'm positive it is an EKOS or INDI bug, because with older releases ( like
3.6.7 or 3.6.0) it works fine. And Canon EOS Utility program succeed to connect
and capture to my camera.

This issue it is not provoking any Crash of Kstars.

PS : it would be nice to give access to older releases DMG installs for allow
users to roll back.
PPS : thanx guys, you're doing an amazing job, I'm an enthusiastic user of your
stuff for 3 years now :)
