--- Comment #226 from Stanley Fertig <stratocaster at icloud.com> ---
Hi Rob,
Well the good news is that I replaced my Serial to USB adapter with a new one
and that solved the problem. My iMac can now communicate with and control the
Dome through kStars. Thank you for that!
I’ve run into a new problem which I assume is easy to fix but I’m stuck:
Although the INDI window in kStars shows that my iMac is connected to my
10Micron mount via WiFi (which the mount confirms), I can’t control the mount
in kStars. I think I need to manually input the IP address (which I have from
the mount) and a Port number (10µ recommends 3490 or 3492). But having tried
all that, I still get an error and can’t control the mount. Do you have any
suggestions?
Thanks,
Stan
