STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  Install 23.08.4 or 24.02RC1 (over working 23.08.3) on macOS
2.  Start Kdenlive

OBSERVED RESULT
Kdenlive crashes ("kdenlive quit enexpectedly.").
Segmentation fault: 11

EXPECTED RESULT
Kdenlive runs.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
macOS: 11.7.10

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Happens on three different macOS computers.
