Not sure if it is related. I also ran into this problem despite a clean setup
with manually started `dbus-launch` and `kdeconnectd` and I can provide some
log trace of `kdeconnectd`:

Although the last line looks suspicious that KDE Connect cannot detect the
capabilities correctly, randomly everything works smoothly even if the line
appears.
