I appreciate your timely responses, Mr. Mutlag.

I have absolutely no explanation. I am a double star observer and such an
annoyance would make me crazy. There were other minor anomalies with Kstars
that probably were due to my lack of experience with the program, or perhaps
issues with Apple M1 as opposed to Intel---who knows? In any event, I have
decided that Kstars does not meet my needs and will trouble you no more.
