Hum sound like the macports compilation of Mysqlclient used by Qt5 is not fine.

I don't change something about between 7.9.0 and later releases. But in
compilation rules i put :

The mariadb10_5 variant is an older rules due to Qt5 incompatibility with
recent version of mariadb and mysql. This problem is now reselved with recent
Qt version available in macports. I will try to recompile all from scratch
(again) without this variant.
