before installing v 5.1.8 I renamed kmymoney.app to kmymoney1dot3.app (in macos
Applications)
I can run that from command line:

neilralph at Neils-MBP ~ % /Applications/kmymoney1dot3.app/Contents/MacOS/kmymoney
 -n

KMM opens with no problem
I can then open my latest Linux save (9gwengood6) using <File><Open>within KMM,
which loads with no loss of data.
The File Info  indicates 21741 transactions

I wonder if upgrading from 5.1.3 to 5.1.8 is too great a leap – Should I try
5.1.4?
