--- Comment #6 from Ahab Greybeard <ahab.greybeard at hotmail.co.uk> ---
Alt+S does not turn on all snapping options on my Linux system. It may be
different on a Mac.

When using the Move tool, snapping operates on the cursor, not the object.

When creating an ellipse, snapping works on the shape boundary, not the centre.

Snapping does work on the centre of a vector ellipse if you use the Select
Shapes tool to move it.

If you feel that changes or additions to any of this behaviour are needed, then
a 'Wishlist' bug report will be needed but that sort of change will require
initial discussion, with explanations and workflow descriptions and diagrams
etc.
That discussion should take place as a new topic on the krita-artists forum:
https://krita-artists.org/

Note: There is a 4MB (I think) limit for attachments to bug reports.

I'll set this report to RESOLVED - NOT A BUG but that can be changed if
required.
